Your safari commences in Cape Town and meanders north into the desert. Embark on safari excursions into the pristine wilderness of the Kalahari, Searching for the vast herds and the nomadic tribe of this desert. Thereafter we explore the Okavango Delta and the Chobe National Park. We conclude this Powerful African Expedition - The Adventure Capital of Africa, The Victoria Falls.
Day 1
Cape Town
Meet your Guide at Cape Town international airport and transfer to our guest house. We enjoy a safari briefing at the Lodge and thereafter spend the afternoon viewing the tourist attractions of this beautiful city, and enjoy sunset on top of Table Mountain.

Day 2
Cape - 300Kms on tar roads. Day Tour.
After breakfast leave on a half-day scenic Mother City tour.
Today we depart for a day of exploration. We spend the morning meandering down the coast over Chapman's Peak drive (conditions permitting) Visit Cape Point, the Cape of Good Hope and the Simon's Town Penguin Colony. Thereafter we travel via Fishhoek & Muizenberg, following the False Bay coast to our afternoon port of call - the wine capital of Africa, Stellenbosch. After exploring the historic town, we visit a wine farm in the area, and savour the products of this famous valley. Return to our Guest house late afternoon / early evening, in time to freshen up and dine in a local restaurant.

Day 3
Cape - Cedarberg Mountains- 350 Kms on good tar. 4 Hrs
We depart from our guest lodge in Cape Town and travel into the true remote wilderness area of the Western Cape, into the Cedarberg Mountains. The afternoon is spent on a short walk to a waterfall, or a swim in one of the many rock pools or rivers.

Cedarberg - Augrabies - 600 Kms on tar. Travel time approx. 8 hrs
Onto Augrabies falls national park. After checking into our bungalows, we will head out to search for eland, giraffe, gemsbok and klipspringer antelope. Witness the spectacular Augrabies falls, here the mighty Orange River plunges over the granite gorge on its lonely journey to the Atlantic Ocean. Dinner in the ethnic camp restaurant tonight

Day 5 & 6
Augrabies - Kalahari. 400 Kms on dirt roads and game drives. 8Hrs
Travel the dusty road to one of the best-kept secrets in Africa: the red sands of the Kalahari. The Kaglagadi Transfrontier Park is one of the largest protected wilderness areas in Africa. The search begins. Rise with the sun and resume our search, often spending long periods waiting for that special moment at waterholes or in the dunes. The Kalahari lion is the largest lion found in the world and just to spend a moment with this black maned king of the beasts is not only a privilege but also an experience that you will never forget. The lion, the raptors and the desert dwelling creatures will fascinate all wildlife enthusiasts. The game drive takes us north on the Nossob river.

Day 7
Kalahari - 150 Kms on 4x4 game drives. 8Hrs
With full jerry cans of water and fuel, we embark on an expedition into the wilds of the Kalahari; the bush camp in the Matopi region is our goal for tonight. En route, a hard earned brunch and siesta period to while away the heat of this unforgiving land.

Day 8
Mabauasehube - 250 Kms on 4x4 dirt roads. 6 Hrs
The Transfrontier pearl called Mabuasehube game reserve tonight. A wild camping night. A little jewel, but a precious jewel. After tedious big sand we finally reach the pearl, encased in its shell of sand. Late afternoon sees us sifting the red sands, searching for those who have not been found. After setting up camp we spend the days searching the pans and dunes, absorbing this desert.

Day 9
Ghanzi - 550 Kms on 4x4, dirt & tar. 8 Hrs
With open eyes we leave this area and make our way slowly northwards towards Ghanzi and the People of the Desert. The San People. We set up camp in a community campsite and rid ourselves of the red sand under cold showers. Relax and interact with the local San population.

Day 10
We rise with the sun and experience the ways of the Hunters and Gatherers, learning the arts of survival in this harsh land. Would we make it out here alone? We return for an awesome brunch, and while away the heat in the shade. The evening is spent enjoying traditional Bushman dancing or story telling. Our homeland seems far away tonight. Day 11
Okavango Delta. 550 Kms 4x4 Dirt/Tar roads. 8Hrs
After this learned experience we bid farewell to these noble people and travel northwards to the Okavango Delta, and the start of the next adventure. Travel in 4x4 over sandy conditions to the verge of the waterway and our base camp for our Okavango Delta excursion. Relax this afternoon, after preparing for the day to come in the wilderness of Botswana.

Day 12
Okavango Delta. Day excursion in Makoros to an island
An early start. A wild place. First we transfer by motorboat to our Okavango Delta swamp island. Today we finally meet Africa wild under the Palm or Ebony trees. The rich bird life of the Okavango Delta is really great to behold. Spend the heat of the day in the shade of great Jackal berry trees, relaxing and enjoying the solitude of being alone in paradise, days that will never be forgotten. A makoro (local canoe) excursion upstream in search of the shy Sitatunga antelope or secretive Pel's fishing owl rounds off our experience in paradise. Late afternoon transfer back to our Okavango base camp.

Day 13
Namibia - Caprivi Strip. 400 Kms on 4x4 dirt and tar. 5 Hrs
We depart the Okavango River and travel north, to enter Namibia and the Caprivi Strip. Camp Kwando is our next destination. The area is a great birding area in which the Paradise Flycatcher and Giant Kingfisher, two of the many rare bird species, are found. A beautiful decadent experience. Day 14
Botswana - Chobe National Park. 300 Kms on tar. 4 hrs
Crossing the border back into Botswana, we make our way to the Chobe National Park. Our lodge is on the banks of the Chobe River, and we spend the afternoon exploring the reserve by boat. We hope to find the Puku Antelope, an antelope endemic to the Chobe floodplains. The park contains a multitude of aquatic bird species and the visitor is sure to observe the majestic Fish Eagle or the acrobatic Bee-eater.

Day 15
Zambia - Vic Falls. 500Kms on tar. 6 Hrs
A new day, the last country, Victoria Falls in Zambia is calling. After the border crossing and a short drive we set up camp outside the bustling town of Livingstone. Today we will visit the world-famous Victoria Falls. (Entry own expense)

Victoria Falls

Zambia. Livingstone- Depart Home
After breakfast we bid farewell, and embark on our journey home with a lifetime worth of memories and experiences.
